Crockpot Chicken


There are a million different variations of this recipe--most everyone has tried it. It is so easy and yummy!

Combine in crockpot:
1/8 c butter or margarine
6 boneless/skinless chicken breasts
1 package of dry Itailan salad dressing mix

Cover and cook on low for 5 to 6 hours.

Drain the juices. Shred the juices and shred the chicken and return to the crockpot.

Combine in small bowl combine:
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 c chicken broth
8 oz cream cheese
1/2 t dried basil
1/2 t dried thyme
salt and pepper, to taste

Pour over the chicken. Cook on low for one hour.

Serve over rice or noodles.
